Enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) means that even if someone knows your password, they still can't access your account — a unique code is required every time you log in. We strongly recommend turning this on.

Steps to activate:

1. Log in and go to "Account Settings" → "Security"
2. Look for the "Two-Factor Authentication" option
3. Click the "Activate" button
4. Choose one of two methods: (a) SMS OTP — a verification code is sent to your mobile each time you log in, or (b) Authenticator App — generate a 30-second code via Google Authenticator or Authy
5. You'll be given a backup code — store it somewhere safe (it'll come in handy if you ever lose your phone).
6. Confirm 2FA using the verification code shown on screen

Once enabled, you'll be prompted for this extra code after your password on every login. To turn it off, click "Deactivate" in the same section and confirm with your password. If your account holds a significant balance, not having 2FA enabled is a serious risk.
